That’s it, it’s all over (sob)!
We had a fantastic day here in Portsmouth. Thanks so much to everyone who came along today and joined in with yoga, enjoyed Trevor’s talk about inventing and then took part in our giant ukulele lesson!
We have had a fantastic couple of weeks on the road, had loads of fun and met so many great people. Thank you so much to everyone who came along.
Here’s to the next 20 years….!

We will then have Trevor Baylis talking about gadgets and inventing.
This afternoon to end the day, and the whole roadshow we will all be playing the Ukulele with our fantastic teacher Nicola Bloom.
Throughout the day we will have free activities running for kids with colouring competitions, trick or treat and face painting…also we have lots of For Dummies freebies, sweets and balloons!

Wow, what a fantastic day!
The sun shone, the chickens clucked and the bees buzzed.
We loved having Pammy Riggs and her beautiful hens with us this morning, her book, Keeping Chickens For Dummies, is the essential guide to starting your own chicken coop!
Then blood pressure checks with Dr Knut and free finger removal or hand injuries with Pete from JaLee First Aid (don’t worry, it was just make up…or was it, it is Halloween you know!).
We ended the day looking at bees and tasting delicious home-made honey with David Wiscombe, author Beekeeping For Dummies and his wife, Mandy.
Thank you so much to everyone who came down today to our workshops, we hope you enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed being here!
Last stop tomorrow, Portsmouth Guildhall Sq…see you at 10 for Mindfulness and Yoga, Gadgets and Inventing and ending the day with a Ukulele workshop + Dummies Man and Halloween fun and games all day!

Good morning Bristol!
If you are in town today and want to have some fun, then come and join us in Central Promenade.
We have got two lovely chicken coops currently set up containing some beautiful chickens! Pammy Riggs (the “Chicken Whisperer” from River Cottage) is on hand to help you with any questions you may have about keeping feathery friends. And if you live in the city and think the country lifestyle isn’t for you, come and speak to the guys from Omlet- they have cool urban chicken houses and bee hives suitable for all lifestyles!
At 12.30, come and meet Knut Schroeder (author of Diagnosing Your Health Symptoms For Dummies and local Bristolian) to talk through any health problems or concerns you may have. Expert help… without having to wait for an appointment!
At 3pm we will have real bees! David Wiscombe will be here displaying his Dummies-coloured friends and can tell you all about them and how to keep them as pets, wherever you live.
And we’ve also got our great colouring competition for kids, origami and your chance to win an iPad 2!
We have great stuff going on and it’s sunny- what’s not to like?! So come and join us!
So today is Wednesday… time to have a rest, after a journey of nearly 800 miles we need it.
Whilst Dummies Man lies down in a darkened room with a cup of cammomile tea and a copy of Relaxation For Dummies, why not have a look at our videos from all cities we have visited so far- you will see why he needs a rest!
Next stop is Bristol, Central Promenade on Friday where we will be showing you how to Keep Chickens with Pammy Riggs, how to Diagnose Your Own Health Symptoms with Dr Knut Schroeder and Beekeeping with David Wiscombe.
We will also be continuing with our amazing colouring competition where you can have a chance to win vouchers from WHSmith, and sign up to our newsletter to have a chance to win an IPad2!
See you in Bristol,

What a day! We got fit, learned to sing in sign language and had a great session on some lovely shiny guitars.
Thanks so much to everyone who came along – we loved your enthusiasm and you also gave us some great book ideas!
We’ve got fit on the bikes this morning and now we’re joining in with some singing… in sign language!
The turnout has been great and there is even more fun to be had- more sign language until 2.30pm and then guitar playing all afternoon from 3-5pm.
So if you haven’t already popped down, do come and join us. For those of you who have, thanks very much, you’ve been fantastic!
