You’ve already planned your trip and taken a look at the events happening at your final destination. Wouldn’t it be helpful to know what other people have to say about what you’re planning on doing, eating, or using as a place of rest?

Well, not always. All reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, simply because you don’t know exactly who or why the person posted the review (or even if the reviews all came from the same person using different accounts). Still, if there are enough reviews, you should be getting a fairly decent idea of what’s going on with your intended destination. Don’t be afraid to consult different sources, too, including:

• Yelp
• Urbanspoon
• Google Maps
