Is it too early to start talking about the Super Bowl yet?  If you’re a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Arizona Cardinals, or greasy and grilled foodstuffs, probably not.  Now that the participants have been finalized, you can start making plans for your Super Bowl party.  There are a few online tools to help you get your invitations and provisions organized:

• Evite is an Internet standard in sending invitations out to your guests, keeping track of who will and won’t be coming, and make changes to the event as necessary.
• Online calendars like Google Calendar allow you to send invitations to multiple people and keep track of the guest list as well.  This applies to all email accounts, Gmail or not.
• If you use Facebook, MySpace, Ning or other social networks, you can create shared events and send out invitations through there.  You’ll be restricted to inviting those on the social network, but you should be able to get a wide swath of people in one stroke.
• There are plenty of Super Bowl XLIII party supplies available, but please - use them sparingly, if at all.  Nobody goes for the decorations - it’s about the aforementioned food and artery-clogging food.
